Inside Asian Gaming, IAG, has appointed Kelsey Wilhelm as Senior Contributing Editor with effect from 4 May 2026. Wilhelm brings 14 years of media experience in Macau, including the last three and a half years in B2B gaming media. He will report to Managing Editor Ben Blaschke.

Why the Appointment Matters

The hire strengthens IAG’s editorial bench at a time when specialist gaming media groups are expanding across digital, print, video and live events. For B2B publishers, that mix matters because audiences now expect faster news cycles, stronger analysis and more visual formats alongside traditional written coverage.

Wilhelm’s background across print, television and digital media gives IAG wider production capability. His experience in the Philippines also adds regional context, which is valuable for coverage of Asia-Pacific gaming, where regulatory, investment and market developments often move across borders.

Video and Event Coverage Gain Importance

IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott highlighted Wilhelm’s experience with Macau public broadcaster TDM and his interest in video as important strengths. Video has become a key format for B2B media because it supports interviews, event reporting and explainers that can reach executives quickly across multiple platforms.

Scott also said Wilhelm will play a key role at IAG EXPO in Manila this September. That signals how editorial talent is now closely linked with event execution, where media brands use content teams to deepen audience engagement before, during and after industry gatherings.

IAG’s Broader Expansion Story

The appointment fits into a wider period of growth for IAG and its parent group. Founded in 2005, IAG has built its presence through bilingual print and digital products focused on Asia’s gaming, resort and entertainment sectors. Its English and traditional Chinese output gives it direct access to one of the industry’s most important executive audiences.

The company entered a new phase on 1 January 2025 when it merged with US-based CDC Gaming under Complete Media Group. The launch of Complete iGaming later that month extended the group’s reach into online gaming across the Americas and Asia-Pacific. For suppliers and operators, that wider footprint means more joined-up coverage across land-based and online segments.
