IAG EXPO 2026 Announces New Dates, Exhibition on Hiatus

Inside Asian Gaming (IAG) has announced that the IAG EXPO will return to Manila's Newport World Resorts in 2026. The exhibition component will pause for a year due to hosting commitments for the Philippines Chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) political forum and regional disruptions related to the Iran crisis.

Events Scheduled as Planned

Despite the hiatus in the exhibition, major events like Manila After Dark (MAD), the IAG Academy Summit, the IAG Academy IR Awards, The Regulators Forum, and the CiG iDEA Summit will continue as scheduled. These events are set between 14 to 17 September 2026, with the CiG iDEA Summit commencing on 14 September in the Hilton Ballroom, followed by MAD in the evening. The IAG Academy Summit is planned for 15-16 September, while the IR Awards will be on the evening of 15 September at the Manila Marriott. The week will wrap up with The Regulators Forum on 17 September in the Hilton Ballroom.

Strategic Hiatus for Innovation

IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott remarked that regional events must adapt to geopolitical and scheduling changes. The decision to pause the exhibition reflects the practical alignment with the ASEAN calendar. He highlighted that the strength of the IAG EXPO lies in its multifaceted events, ensuring the week remains impactful. The pause is seen as an opportunity to innovate and return with a more future-focused exhibition in 2027.
