Raketech Records €13.1 Million Net Loss for 2025 Amid Business Overhaul

Raketech has reported a €13.1 million net loss for 2025. This outcome comes after a significant restructuring phase aimed at streamlining operations and shifting towards sustainable growth. The transformation period was characterised by a decrease in revenue and paid traffic performance issues, ultimately leading to asset write-offs.

Revenue Decline and Strategic Shift

The company saw its revenue from ongoing operations fall to €27 million from €51.3 million the previous year. This drop highlights the declining efficiency of its Paid Publisher Network. The reduction in paid channel activities resulted in fewer new depositing customers (NDC) and lower commission income. However, Raketech managed to maintain positive operational results by optimising expenses and reducing key expenditure areas.

Transition to Organic Models

A key strategic change was moving away from scaling through paid traffic to a model focused on organic growth and partnership networks. Throughout the year, Raketech systematically phased out the Paid Publisher Network, strengthening its External Organic Publisher Network, which provides a stable source of new NDCs and revenue.

Portfolio Optimisation and Asset Sales

Raketech undertook a major optimisation of its asset portfolio, selling gambling affiliate sites in the tipster/subscription segment, as well as the iGaming-SEO affiliate team Casumba, which operated in Japan. While these transactions resulted in a substantial one-time loss, they reduced regulatory risks and simplified business structure.

Financial Flexibility and AffiliationCloud

The company enhanced financial flexibility by renegotiating Casumba's earnout terms, extending payments to 2028, thereby easing short-term cash flow pressure. Cost restructuring, including partner payment reductions and operational cost cuts, was also carried out. In addition, Raketech's AffiliationCloud platform remains integral to its business model, combining operators, media assets, and external publishers, thus providing tracking, analytics, and automated settlement processes. This infrastructure is crucial for scaling in a consolidated market with growing operator demands.

Content Quality and Market Challenges

In 2025, Raketech focused on improving content quality and audience engagement, expanding media sections with analytics and educational content in the Scandinavian casino niche, and bolstering the sports segment with pre-match analysis and event-driven formats. This effort aims to increase returning traffic and enhance NDC quality.

As the market environment becomes more complex, with increased regulation and operator consolidation, Raketech prioritises developing a platform-based model while reducing reliance on unstable traffic sources. Entering 2026, Raketech aims for an organic growth model with a simplified structure and reduced paid traffic dependency, focusing on partner network expansion and AffiliationCloud development.
